View 5 of 5This 36-year-old woman suffered from gigantomastia, severely enlarged breasts which cause chronic back,neck, and shoulder pain from overly heavy breasts. She is shown 11 months after a breast reduction with free nipple grafts with Dr. John Layliev in New York. Over 6.5 pounds of breast tissue was removed from each side. The center of the free nipple areola graft is pink but this will continue to darken over the next several months; free nipple grafts in dark colored patients lose their pigment initially but then regain their color slowly over time. Her pain was immediately relieved and she is so happy with her proportionately sized breasts.
